TIMBO: Mrs. Roth’s 3rd Grade Class has been learning about immigrants coming to America through “The Castle on Hester Street” in Wonders. The main character shares a story of the president coming to welcome him into Ellis Island- which was a fabrication to his granddaughter. Mrs. Avis wanted to share that meeting a president wasn’t always a fabricated story! She took this moment in to share her precious photographs of when she made a home cooked meal for JIMMY CARTER at Timbo!! The students loved making this connection!

Timbo: The Sr. Boys will be competing at the 1-A State Championship Cross Country Meet at Oaklawn Park in Hot Springs this afternoon. Running for the Tigers will be Braden Avey, Riley Callahan, Jeremiah Holley, Sam Holley, Gage Massey, Dalton Shellstrom, Logan Treadway, and Brayden Watts. The boys run will begin at 2:45pm. Timbo: Congratulations to Timbo Jr High Quiz bowl in their win against Concord today. Students participated in the Invitational Quiz Bowl Tournament at Melbourne. Thank you coaches: Mr Berg, Mrs George, and Mrs Mitchell.

Attention Parents and Students, We need your help! We have had issues with students hanging around in the parking lot and behind the gym during basketball games. We are asking parents to help us to resolve this issue. There are not to be any students in the parking lot or behind the gym during basketball games. Students should remain in the gym at all times. Students should also not be playing in the lobby. If they are not in line to get concessions or going to the restrooms, they should be in the bleachers at all times.
