A reminder for parents/guardians: Please make sure to bring parent and doctor notes to school upon students returning after being absent. You have five school days to get these to school after the absence occurs. We cannot take these notes after five days. See the student handbook page 26. We are mandated by state law to turn in to the courts students who have seven unexcused absences. Students will receive a letter home after the third unexcused absence and a second letter home after the sixth unexcused absence. Upon the seventh unexcused absence, the student must be turned into the court system. If you have questions, please see page 26 in the student handbook. Timbo: Seth and Aleah competed as individuals in the Special Olympics State Bowling Competition on Thursday. Aleah came home with a 6th place finish in her division and Seth came home with a 4th place finish in his. The people in the photo with Seth are representatives of the Marines, LRPD, and Pulaski County Sheriff’s office. They presented the medals to the kids. We are so proud of you both!
